Director

Adam started the business with Nicholas Taylor in 2002, having worked in Chelmsford property since 1985. He undertakes both residential & commercial valuations, rent reviews, lease renewals, property management and rating. His hobbies include golf, badminton and chess.

Nicholas Taylor _{BSc (Hons) MRICS}
Director

Nicholas started the business with Adam Elwell in 2002, having worked both locally and in the City since 1996. He deals with all aspects of building surveying specialising in project management and dilapidations. In his spare time he enjoys cycling, shooting and gardening.

Matthew Turner _{BSc (Hons) MRICS}
Director

Matthew joined Elwell Taylor in 2005 and qualified as a chartered surveyor in 2007. Now a Director of Elwell Taylor, he deals with commercial agency, rent reviews, lease renewals and property management. In his spare time he enjoys football, gaming and running.

Joanne Gilbey
RESIDENTIAL SALES & LETTINGS MANAGER

Joanne joined us in November 2018 as a Property Manager however from May 2023 she is now the Residential Department Manager dealing with Sales & Lettings. Joanne has worked in the property sector for over 23 years, gaining vast experience within her previous roles for a London based company. In her spare time she enjoys socialising, cooking, travelling and working out.

Melanie Bangs
Accounts Manager

Melanie joined Elwell Taylor in September 2020 to do the Accounts. She has worked in the Accounts sector for over 25 years, gaining vast experience with her previous roles across a number of different industries. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, cooking & swimming.

Sam Oliver _{BSc MRICS}
Associate Chartered Surveyor

Sam joined Elwell Taylor in 2021 as a Chartered Surveyor. From June 2024 Sam was promoted to Associate. He deals with commercial agency, rent reviews, and lease renewals. When not in the office, Sam enjoys playing golf, watching rugby and cricket.

Hannah Collard
Residential Administration & Property Manager

Hannah joined the company in early 2022 to support the Residential Sales and Lettings department with all things administration. In May 2023, she was promoted to Lettings Property Manager, although still assisting with Sales Administration. She has thoroughly enjoyed getting stuck in with all things Property Management related. Hannah’s main interests outside of work are looking after, riding and competing her horse and pony in Dressage.

Sarah Bennett
Commercial Property Manager

Sarah joined the company in June 2023 as our Commercial Property Manager. Having worked within the property industry for over 23 years, she has gained vast experience in all matters of Commercial Management. In her spare time, she enjoys football, DIY and socialising.
